What is GPSR?
The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) entered into force on 13 December 2024 and applies to all products sold to EU consumers online. It replaces the old General Product Safety Directive.
Under Article 19, every product listed in your online store must display: the manufacturer's identification and contact details, an EU Authorised Representative (if the manufacturer is outside the EU), the product's identification, and any applicable safety warnings. This applies to all products — regardless of whether they carry a CE mark.

How it works
Add your manufacturers
Enter the company name, postal address, and contact details for each manufacturer. If any are outside the EU, add their EU Authorised Representative too.
Link products and add safety data
Assign a manufacturer to each product, add safety warnings from our library (or write custom ones), and enter product identifiers such as batch or model number.
The widget appears automatically
Enable the GPSR widget in your theme editor. It reads data directly from Shopify's metafields — zero performance impact, no extra API calls.
Monitor your compliance status
The dashboard shows which products are complete, incomplete, or missing data. Business plan includes detailed compliance scoring and an audit trail.
